our recent stay at a lovely Ostel in Clarecastle exceeded expectations. The manager was friendly, rooms were clean and comfortable. The highlight was the fantastic homemade bread and meeting fellow travelers from all over the world. A wonderful experience in the heart of the beautiful Burren.
Breakfast a little lacking.

The location was absolutely stunning, surrounded by beautiful green landscapes and just a short distance from a charming restaurant/pub. the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making us feel right at home. the rooms were spacious and comfortable, providing a great night's sleep. We also appreciated the convenience of ample parking spaces.
Signs were posted everywhere, making us feel a bit restricted and like children being scolded by their parents. the creaky doors and old keys were also a bit of an inconvenience, as they would often wake us up when trying to open or close them.

We stayed at Clare's Rock for a few nights while exploring the local area. The family room with private bathroom was spacious and clean, perfect for our needs. The kitchen facilities were excellent, with a well-maintained fridge and freezer for storing our food. The staff were friendly and helpful, always ready to assist us with anything we needed. The location was ideal, with all the local attractions just a short drive away. One highlight was the charming pub and restaurant across the road, offering delicious food and a great atmosphere. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be returning.

The location was totally stunning, with breathtaking views everywhere. We went on this wicked cave tour where the guides showed us these insane rock formations. It was mind-blowing! We also did this popular walk in the Burren, and the scenery was unreal. We felt like explorers, just living our best adventure life!
The only thing we wished for was more fun activities for young party-goers like us. The place was super chill and peaceful, which is great if you're looking for a relaxed vibe.

This place was perfect for our large family group. the rooms had plenty of single beds and en suite bathrooms. We loved the large living space and well-equipped kitchen. the location was great for accessing activities in the Burren and we even took day trips to Limerick and Galway. the owner, Pat, was friendly and helpful, and his brown bread was amazing. the kids especially enjoyed the well-equipped playroom for rainy days. it served us well, especially with teenagers in tow.
Felt very well, nothing to complain about.

The staff were so accommodating, even though we arrived late. The breakfast included fresh muffins and juice, and we got a great tip from another guest about a cheaper parking option near the Cliffs of Moher. The place was remote and quiet, with a large room and a super comfy bed. The shower, toilet, and room were exceptionally clean. The pub across the way had an awesome view and offered gluten-free pizza and healthy food choices. The staff, especially Sean, were friendly and helpful, giving advice on nearby walks. The location was central to tourist attractions but also peaceful and relaxing. Can't wait to go back!

The fantastic bread made by the host was a highlight of my stay at Clare's Rock. It was so delicious that I was tempted to take some for lunch! Additionally, meeting travelers from around the world and engaging in interesting conversations during the evenings and breakfast was a truly delightful and exhilarating experience. The magnificent karst scenery and abundance of prehistoric sites also added to the captivating charm of the place. I highly recommend Clare's Rock for an unforgettable stay.
